In-Home Care - Information about child care in the home, when a parent has a disability (Australia only).
www.abrabrighton.com.au - Abracadabra Brighton Domestic Agencies Pty. Ltd. are approved providers for the inaugural IN-Home Care scheme with the Department of Family Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. This scheme also allows families to access up to 13 weeks with some funding available for Child Care in their home to assist the family during a crisis or an illness of either parent or child. They can also be contacted on (03) 9592 5161.
► Emotional support services
Australian Psychological Society - The Australian Psychological Society (APS) is the largest professional association for psychologists in Australia. This site includes a search facility to find a psychologist in your area.
PANDA - a Victorian, not-for-profit, self-help organization that was formed in 1985 to provide confidential information, support and referral to anyone affected by post and antenatal mood disorders (ie. postnatal depression), including partners and extended family members.
Relationships Australia - Relationships Australia is an organisation that offers resources to couples, individuals and families to help enhance and support relationships.
Lifeline - 24-hour telephone counselling services for anyone, at anytime and from anywhere in Australia for just the cost of a local call.
Medicare benefits for non-directive pregnancy support counselling services - These services may be used to address any pregnancy related issues for which non-directive counselling is appropriate. They are directed to women with concerns about a current pregnancy or a pregnancy which occurred in the preceding 12 months. Up to three services per pregnancy can be provided by eligible practitioners.

Disability, Pregnancy & Parenthood international - This is a small UK based registered charity, controlled by disabled parents, which promotes better awareness and support for disabled people considering, during and after pregnancy and as parents.
Disabled Parents Network - Disabled Parents Network (DPN) is a UK based organisation of and for disabled people who are parents or who hope to become parents, and their families, friends and supporters
TADVIC - An organisation whose volunteer members design, construct or modify equipment for people with disabilities. This service is provided where no commercially available solution will meet their needs.
